Welcome to December! The year is moving quickly, and we’re excited for all the joy the holiday season brings. At Robbinsdale, we’re always working to build a strong sense of community, and today’s assembly focused on the habit of “Synergize.” In simple terms, synergy means that we’re better together—it’s teamwork, open-mindedness, and creatively solving problems side by side. Our students learned that this kind of collaboration doesn’t just happen by accident; it takes practice and intentionality. After the assembly, students enjoyed making a special treat to bring home and creating an ornament to celebrate the season. We hope you enjoy this wonderful time of year!
🎄 Christmas Program – December 17
We are excited to invite you to our Christmas Program at South Middle School on Wednesday, December 17. Please note that outside food and drinks are not allowed in the auditorium.
If you plan to pick your child up after their performance, you will need to return to Robbinsdale to sign them out officially.
Performance schedule:
8:45 AM – Kindergarten & 1st Grade
9:30 AM – Orchestra
10:15 AM – Band
10:45 AM – 4th & 5th Grade
11:15 AM – 2nd & 3rd Grade

The RCAS Board of Education has approved the 2026–2027 student calendar.

📊 Winter Benchmark Testing
Next week, students will begin our winter benchmark assessments for reading and math.
K–1 students will take the Acadience screener.
2–5 students will take MAP assessments.
Parent reports will be sent home after winter break.
📣 Comprehensive Needs Assessment (CNA)
Robbinsdale is participating in a Comprehensive Needs Assessment to help us understand how to continue improving student learning. This process gathers accurate, objective information that helps us plan meaningful strategies and supports.
