Due to not reaching the needed amount of volunteers to cover the required positions, PTA sadly announces that we will not be having Turkey Bingo this year. This is a large event that takes weeks to plan and we have simply run out of time before this decision needed to be made.
We would like to thank those who reached out with an interest to volunteer, we greatly appreciate it. We also would like to thank those who showed an interest in attending our next meeting. Our October meeting is Thursday the 9th at 6 pm in the library. It is extremely important that we have representation at our monthly meetings and we hope to see you there!

Lifeways Student Support Program
East Middle School partners with Lifeways, a nonprofit agency focused on youth substance use prevention and healthy decision-making. Through classroom lessons and individual support, students learn skills such as goal setting, decision-making, managing emotions, and resisting peer pressure. The program uses evidence-based curriculums (Project Success and Too Good for Drugs) to help students build positive relationships, make healthy choices, and stay substance-free. Services are free, and referrals can be made by staff, parents, or guardians.
For more information, visit www.lifeways.us.
